Electrical Earth fault indication device (up to 600 Amp load)

This Earth fault indication device will give the Hooter noise lamp indication at the time of Earth fault and Earth leakage, so the necessary action can be taken.

Features of Device

  • Earth leakage current can be controlled so Electricity bill amount will not Increase due to Earth leakage current.

This device has a facility to set Earth leakage current so depending upon the load situation, Earth leakage current setting can be done.
This device does not have any breakdown supply problem.

Specification

Wall mounted device consists of Control MCB, Earth leakage relay with earth leakage current indication, Earth Fault Red Hooter noise indication lamp, Push button to stop Hooter noise, Control Relay and Loose current transformer.

  • Earth fault indication device shall be mounted on wall.
  • Connect single phase supply to control MCB.
  • Insert current transformer on Incoming four core cable.
  • Connect two wire of CT to S1 and S2 terminal of Earth leakage relay.

Working of Fault Indication Device

  • At the time of Earth fault/ Earth leakage, There will be Hooter noise lamp.
  • Press the Push button to stop the Hooter noise lamp
  • The Hooter noise lamp will be off, If the Earth fault occur earlier.
  • The Hooter noise will remain on, If the Earth fault exists.
  • Now locate the Earth fault so that the Hooter noise lamp shall be off.
  • If you want to locate Earth fault after some time, Make MCB off so Hooter noise lamp will be off.
  • At the time of locating Earth fault, Keep MCB on, so Hooter noise lamp will be on, Now Press the Push button, If the Hooter noise lamp remain in on condition, Locate the Earth fault so that the Hooter noise lamp shall be off.
